What we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and what we never do with it.

Briarcliff Remodeling is a residential remodeling contractor serving metro Atlanta. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
We only collect what you give us. There is no account to create. This site has no contact form and no page on it asks you to type in a phone number. The chat window in the corner of the site is the single place where you can choose to give us one. Information reaches us when you:
That typically means your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property being remodeled, and whatever you tell us about the project.
We keep project records because a three year workmanship warranty means we may need to look up what was installed in your home years later.
There is exactly one way to opt in to text messages from us on this website: the chat window in the corner of the page. When you enter your phone number there, you are shown a consent checkbox, and you have to tick it yourself. It is never ticked for you. If you do not tick it, we will not text you.
No other part of this site collects a phone number. There is no contact form, no quote form, no newsletter signup and no popup that asks for one. If you call us, text us first, or give us your number in person at an estimate, that is a conversation you started, and we use the number to answer you.
When you tick the consent box in our chat window, you agree to receive text messages from Briarcliff Remodeling about your project, including scheduling, estimates, project updates, and follow up after completion.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by project. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call the number listed on this site.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional use, and this includes any information you give us in the chat window.
Texts from us are about your job: confirming an appointment, telling you when we are on the way, sending a quote, checking in after the work is done, and asking once whether you would leave a review. We do not send marketing blasts, promotions, or anything you did not ask for.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, and it is not a condition of getting a quote. You can ask us to call or email instead, and we will.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to lead-generation companies. The only parties who ever see it are:
That is the whole list.
We photograph completed projects and may use those photos on this site, on our Google Business Profile, and on social media. Photos show the work, never your name or address. If you would rather we did not photograph your home at all, tell us before we start and that is the end of it. If a photo is already published and you want it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
Project records are kept for at least the length of the workmanship warranty plus the period required for tax and accounting purposes. Enquiries that never became jobs are cleared out periodically.
Any of these can be handled with a phone call.
This site does not run advertising trackers. Standard web server logs record page requests, which is normal for any website and is not tied to your identity. Links to Google Business Profile and similar services are governed by those companies' own policies, not this one.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it.
Questions about this policy, or about information we hold, go to Erich directly. Call or text the number on our contact page.
