The basis on which we quote and perform work, and how the pricing on this site should be read.
Last updated September 10, 2026
These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which Briarcliff Remodeling quotes and performs work. The written estimate and contract you sign for your specific project governs that project, and where the two differ, your signed contract wins.
The content here is provided to help you understand what we do and roughly what it costs. Photographs show real projects we completed. Text, photographs, and the layout of this site belong to Briarcliff Remodeling and should not be copied for use elsewhere.
The prices published on this site, including the ranges on the pricing page and the output of the estimator, are good faith ballparks based on completed jobs. They are not quotes and they are not offers.
A real price requires seeing the space. What is behind a wall changes a number, and nobody can tell you what is behind your wall from a web page. Your binding price is the written estimate you receive after an in-person visit.
You get a start date and a finish date in writing. Timelines assume the site is accessible, utilities are on, and selections are made when we ask for them. Delays caused by material back orders, permit offices, or changes you request after work begins move the finish date accordingly, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
If you change the scope once a job has started there is a $75 change fee plus the cost of the change itself. That fee exists to discourage the kind of drift that turns a three week job into a seven week job, not to make money. Changes are confirmed in writing before we act on them.
Our workmanship carries a three year warranty. If something fails because of how we installed it, we come back and make it right at no cost to you.
The warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by someone else's work after we finish, movement or settlement of the structure, water damage from a source outside the area we built, or products that fail on their own. Manufactured products such as fixtures, tile, and cabinetry carry their own manufacturer warranties and we will help you make a claim on one.
We take residential remodeling and small to mid-size commercial interior work. Where a project requires a licensed general contractor, we will tell you that up front and work alongside one rather than around it.
Program. Briarcliff Remodeling sends text messages about your project: appointment confirmations, arrival notices, quotes, project updates, follow up after the work is done, and a single request for a review. We do not send marketing blasts.
How you opt in. The chat window on this site is the only place here that collects a phone number, and it carries a consent checkbox you have to tick yourself. No other page, form or popup on this site asks for one. Consent is not a condition of getting a quote or of any purchase.
Frequency. Varies by project. Most customers get a handful of messages across a job, not a recurring schedule.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Those are between you and your carrier, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message and the messages stop. Reply HELP for help, or call the number on this site.
Full detail, including what we do and do not do with your number, is in the SMS section of our privacy policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Nothing on this website creates a contract. A contract exists when you and Briarcliff Remodeling sign a written estimate for a specific project. Our responsibility for any project is limited to the work described in that document.
